Present owners Eric Ohlgren and Carl Keaney founded Heuristic Workshop, Inc. in 1992.  The company initially focused on the design and fabrication of residential casework but has shifted its focus to commercial and institutional work.

The company is located in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee in a 43,000 square foot facility that was significantly renovated in 1998.

Our clients include hospitals, schools, retailers, architects, resturants, hotels, museums and government agencies (partial client list below).

Our professional staff strive to provide cost-effective casework, store fixtures, display cases, office cabinets and countertops customized to meet the unique needs of our expanding client base. We work closely with architects, designers and general contractors to ensure we are going to meet all client expectations from value engineering during the bidding process through final installation of the casework.
